Kamla Nehru College for Women hosted a Fresher’s Party to welcome students of all the departments from first year. This function was organised by Youth Welfare Club under the guidance of Reema Madan Joshi, Dr. Nimrat Deep Kaur, Dr. Rinka. Floral welcome was presented by the senior staff members to the college principal Dr. Savinder Pal. A plethora of cultural activities were organised, including song and dance performances. Modeling round was organised which was judged by Madam Sandeep Nandra and Madam Neeti.

The college principal, Dr. Savinder Pal welcomed all the freshers and guided the students about their new college life. She encouraged them to do well in their academics as well as non- acadmic activities.

 Ramanpreet Kaur was crowned as ‘Ms Fresher’. Harman Jaswal became the ‘First runner-up’ and Nimansa became the ‘Second runner-up’. Gurpreet Kaur won the title for ‘Ms. Confident’ and and Harman Jaswal was adjudged ‘Best Dressed’, Gurpreet got ‘Ms. Beautiful Eyes’ tag and Lovepreet was declared as ‘Ms. Beautiful Smile’.  Nishtha (BBA) bagged the title of ‘Captivating Smile’.

The function ended on a joyous note with the cake cutting ceremony along with all the staff members and students.
