National Seminar on “Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji: Teachings and Martyrdom”

On October 4, 2025, she took part in a one-day National Seminar on “Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji: Teachings and Martyrdom”, organized by Dr. Balbir Singh Sahitya Kendra, Dehradun, in collaboration with the Department of Encyclopedia of Sikhism, Punjabi University, Patiala. Dr. Savinder Pal presided over one of the sessions of the seminar and, while sharing her views, highlighted that the teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji carry universal messages for humanity. She emphasized that by following these teachings, society today can nurture the values of love, compassion, and selfless sacrifice.

In continuation of the commemorative activities, Dr. Savinder Pal delivered an Extension Lecture on November 3, 2025, at Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women, Jalandhar, on the topic “Relevance of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Teachings in the Contemporary World.” In her address, she stated that the teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji hold deep significance in today’s world, offering valuable guidance for various aspects of life. She noted that Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji stood for equality, human rights, and freedom of faith, opposing all forms of coercion. Guru Tegh Bahadur emphasized respect for all religions and the need for interfaith understanding and harmony.
