To mark ‘World Ozone Day’, an Extension lecture on the effects of Ozone Depletion was organized on Friday. The lecture was organized by the Department of science of the college.Dr. Raj Bala, Assistant Professor, DAV University Jalandhar was the resource person. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bala talked about the ill effects on Ozone Depletion and the activities that are causing this hazard. On the occasion, a poster making competition was also organized on this theme Nazima from Bsc. Medical 5 th sem stood first, Jaskaranpreet from Bsc medical 1 st sem stood second while Supriya Lamba of Bsc Medical 5 th sem stood third. College Principal Dr.Kiran Walia welcomed the guests and congratulated the winning students.
