Lecture on Interpersonal Skills and Interview Etiquettes

On 16 February 2026, the English Literary Society of Kamla Nehru College for Women, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, organised an extension lecture on “Interpersonal Skills and Interview Etiquettes”, delivered by Ms. Nandini, Assistant Professor at Panjab University Constituent College, Balachaur, to make students aware of interpersonal skills and the importance of etiquette.

The session was attended by faculty members of the Department of English including HOD Ms. Isha Chhabra, Ms. Vatandeep Kaur and Mr. Harpreet Singh. Students from various courses participated enthusiastically and benefited greatly from the lecture.

The lecture was enriched with real-life examples, and her interaction with students made the session lively and engaging. She explained how interpersonal skills and interview etiquette significantly influence a student’s future and shared experiences from her own journey from student to teacher. Nearly 100 students from various courses attended the session.

In her concluding remarks, the Principal shared her views and advised students to develop such skills alongside their academic curriculum so that they are well prepared to step into the professional world.
