An educational trip to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar was organized by the Department of Political Science of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara on Wednesday. The trip was organized under the guidance of College Principal Dr. Kiran Walia. During the visit, the students of the department visited the university campus. Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Professor in Department of Social Science of GNDU delivered a lecture on higher education. During his lecture, he discussed various important issues related to the present scenario of higher education in the country and in the state of Punjab. During the visit, the students also paid obeisance at Harmandar Sahib and later visited Jallianwala Bagh. Dr. Rinka from political science department accompanied the students.
