In continuation of 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration,NSS unit,History, Political science and Fine Arts Department of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara celebrated ‘Constitution Day’ under the guidance of College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal. On this occasion , an oath was  taken by the students. A Seminar on the importance of Constitution was organised wherein the keynote speaker, Nidhi Jassal enlightened the students about the formation of Indian constitution, rights and duties, laws and rules for the smooth and justful governance of the country. Poster Making Competition was also held. About 80 students  were present. College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal addressed  the students by saying that  Dr. Ambedkar made valuable  contribution to its making, composing and completion. She also appreciated the efforts  of Dr. Sudamini Sood, Dr Rinka, Ms Kamlesh and Programme officers, Dr. Lalit kumar, Ms Nidhi Jassal  for organising this  event.
