Giving the students a practical exposure, an industrial visit to Pepsico Holdings India Ltd, Chips Division, village Channo, Bhawanigarh was organized by the PG Department of Commerce of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara. A group of 46 students of M. Com third semester and got a firsthand experience of the manufacturing process at the unit, hygiene norms and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.  General Manager Mr. Sandeep Garg, HR manager Mr. Ashish and Quality Assurance Incharge Mr. Himanshu shared valuable information with the students detailing about the company, its products and its corporate social responsibility. Complete production process was visually explained to the students, starting from picking of potatoes to the final packaging of chips.
