On September 16,2021, Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women, Phagwara organised a splendid fresher party in the premises of the college to welcome the freshers.The function commenced with floral welcome of the worthy principal of the college by the coordinators.Senoir students performed many cultural activities for freshers which include Shabad,Group Dance ,Bhangra , and Solo Dance.All the participants displayed their artistic accumen with great zeal.The Modelling contest was the biggest attraction for the audience and the contest happened in three rounds.+2 students, Gurwinder and Gurleen expressed their feelings of love towards the college which touched the hearts of one and all present there.On this occasion, Ms Sanjana Walia and Ms Geeta Sharma were the judges.Different tittles Miss Beautiful smile,Best Dress,Miss Beautiful Eyes,Miss Confident were given to Muskaan, Veronica,Karanjit, Palak respectively.Veronica and Sukhman were declared first and second runner up respectively.Noordeep won the tittle of Miss Fresher.Dr Savinder Pal, the college principal, welcomed the new students and inspired the students to work hard with dedication.She congratulated the organising team for the successful organisation of the event.She also added that such kind of activities are indeed beneficial for the overall personality development of the students.The party concluded with the Dance performance.
