Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organized FDP on the topic “NEP: Transformative Reforms and Implementation in Higher Education” in the Seminar Hall. Dr. Mohinder Kaur Grewal, NAAC Accessor and Ex -Principal GCW,Ludhiana was the key Resource person. Dr. Priyanka Aeri, NAAC Coordinator introduced her among staff members and Principal Dr. Savinder Pal formally welcomed the resource person by presenting her planter. Dr Grewal talked in length that after the National Education Policy made in 1986, a new education policy (New Education Policy 2020) has been made directly in 2020, i.e. after 34 years. She further added the entire focus was on the new education policy, which seems to be extremely advantageous for the youth and the new India. About 60 faculty members attended this informative session. Dr. Kawaljit Singh, Head, Economics Department concluded the program with a vote of thanks.
