In a matter of immense pride for the college, two faculty members of Department of Science of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara have been awarded for their contribution in research at 3 day International Conference on Global Scenario of Life Science, Agriculture, Nursing & Medical Research for the welfare of Rural and Urban Folk (GOSLANRUF-2017), held at Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Dr. Vanita Chahal, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Science was awarded ‘Emerging Scientist Award-2017’ while Dr. Diana Handa, Assistant Professor (Zoology) has been conferred with ‘Young Scientist Award’ at the conference. The conference was organized by International Consortium of Contemporary Biologist and Madhavi Shyam Education Trust, Ranchi. College Principal Dr. Kiran Walia congratulated both the recipients and wished them all the best for future.
