Under the able guidance of College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, NSS Unit, C.A Group, Buddy Group and Joint Hands Club of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organised a visit to Apahaj Ghar. The purpose of this visit was to make the students empathetic and compassionate towards people with physical disabilities. The College students donated clothes, eatables, sanitary pads and medicines etc. to the inmates of Apahaj Ghar. During the visit, Madam Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal and Madam Sanjana Walia of Commerce Department interacted with the staff members and other residents and the students also interacted with them.
