Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, achieved remarkable success by winning the Overall Trophy at the prestigious “Panorama, Cultural Kutumb-2025,” organized by Lovely Professional University on March 27, 2025.

Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal and the dedicated efforts of Punjabi Department Professor Harjinder Singh, a total of 15 students from the college participated in various competitions such as poetry recitation, speech, debate, and poster making, securing top positions. Vini Bangar won first place in poetry recitation, Gurnoor in debate, and Nisha Raj in poster making. Additionally, Savita secured the first position and Sukirti secured the second position in the speech competition. With these outstanding achievements, the college earned the Overall Trophy and gained recognition in the region. As part of the event, Lovely Professional University also organized a workshop on the “New Education Policy,” where Professor Harjinder Singh participated as a representative.

Principal Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated the winning students on their exceptional accomplishment, encouraged them to continue striving for excellence, and appreciated efforts of Prof. Harjinder Singh. She also extended her congratulations to Head of Department Dr. Ruminder Kaur and the entire Punjabi Department for this commendable success.
