Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) club celebrated International Women’s Day
The event featured four teams named after trailblazers: Sofiya Qerehi (Team A), Droupadi Murmu (Team B), Mitali Raj (Team C), and Sunita Williams (Team D). Around 60 students attended this event, filling the venue with enthusiasm and a shared spirit of learning. Madam Jyoti from Economics department asked number of questions from all the four teams. After several rounds of intense competition, the participants of Droupadi Murmu (Team B)—Kashish and Nancy of B.Sc. Med. Sem-4, and Suhani of B.Sc. Med. Sem-2—secured the first position. They were followed by the participants of Sunita Williams (Team D)—Sumridhi and Simranjit Kaur of B.Sc. Economics Sem-2, and Dolly of B.Com Sem-2—who earned the second position, while the participants of Mitali Raj (Team C)—Parminder Kaur, Arti, and Riya of B.Com Sem-2—clinched the third position.
l Dr. Savinder Pal graced the occasion and motivated all the students with her inspiring words, encouraging them to draw strength from these role models and strive for excellence in every field. She emphasized that true empowerment lies in knowledge and self-belief, urging the students to become the architects of a progressive society. Furthermore, she highlighted that participating in such national initiatives fosters a spirit of unity and broadens one’s intellectual horizons. Concluding her address, she reminded the young scholars that their potential is limitless and that the college remains committed to providing every resource for their holistic growth. In her address, Dr. Pal appreciated the efforts of Dr. Priyanka Aeri, Ms. Jyoti and Ms. Isha for making the quiz competition a success. The event was a celebration of Women’s achievements and a testament to the college’s focus on empowering young minds.
