Kamaljeet Kaur, a student of B.Sc. Non-Medical Semester VI of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, secured the third position in a poetry recitation competition organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, during the celebration of the 75th anniversary of its Punjabi Department.

Around 25 teams from various colleges participated in the event. In addition to the poetry recitation competition, quiz and poster-making competitions were also held.

In the quiz competition, Priya (B.A. Semester IV), Kiran (B.A. Semester IV), and Shivani (B.A. Semester VI) received participation certificates. Mannat (B.A. Semester II) also received a participation certificate in the poster-making competition.

On this occasion, Dr. Savinder Pal, Director Academics, and Dr. Ruminder Kaur, officiating Principal, congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to continue participating in such events. They also appreciated the efforts of the coordinators.
