Under the able guidance of college Principal, Dr. Savinder pal , Caste Based Discrimination Prevention
Cell and Buddy group of kamla Nehru College for Women,Phgwara Celebrated the birth anniversary of
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, father of Indian constitution to pay reverence to the legendary person. Documentary
on Baba Sahib was shown to the students. Through this documentary, a brief information on his life and
his contribution to Indian constitution was given to students Madam principal addressed the students and enlightened them about his early stage of life’s
struggle and struggle for good education. She also explained the importance of celebrating this day.
About 100 students along with cell incharges attended this program Further, she appreciated the joint efforts put in by the members of Caste based discrimination
prevention cell and Buddy group and motived them to organise such informative sessions in the near
future too.
