Students of Kamla Nehru Junior College undertook an educational industrial visit to Sukhjit Mega Food Park, Rehana Jattan. A group of 35 students from Class 11 actively participated in the visit, gaining practical exposure to industrial operations and food processing systems.

The visit was further enriched by the support and guidance of the Managing Director of Sukhjit Mega Food Park and the esteemed College President, Mr. Dhiraj Sardana, who played a significant role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the visit through effective coordination and constant encouragement to the students.

During the visit, students were guided by industry experts including Mr. Pawan Kumar from the HR Department, Mr. Shamshad Ali from the Cold Storage Unit, Mr. Bhanu Partap from the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and Mr. Ram Sawroop Puri from the Boiler Department. They provided detailed insights into various processes such as storage, waste management, and energy systems used in the food park.

The visit was organized under the able guidance of Director Academics Dr. Savinder Pal and Officiating Principal Dr. Ruminder Kaur. The Junior College Incharge, Dr. Rinka, also played a key role in facilitating the visit.

The students were escorted by Ms. Simranjeet Kaur Walia and Ms. Anita, who ensured smooth coordination throughout the trip.

The industrial visit proved to be highly informative and enriching, helping students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world industrial practices.
