Experiential Learning Session
Under the esteemed guidance of Director Academics Dr. Savinder Pal and Officiating Principal Dr. Ruminder Kaur, the Home Science Association organised an experiential learning session on 4th April 2026 for the students of the Diploma in Nanny Care and Nutrition.
As part of the programme, the students visited Chander’s Little Dolphin Playway School, Phagwara, where they had the opportunity to interact with young learners in a fun and engaging environment while applying basic educational skills.
The Nanny Care students organised play-based activities for preschoolers aimed at developing fine motor and gross motor skills. These activities were thoughtfully designed to enhance cognitive growth and improve eye–hand coordination. To nurture creativity, a range of engaging art activities such as thumb painting, earbud painting, and cutting and pasting were conducted. The children participated enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed the activities, making the experience both enjoyable and meaningful.
The programme fostered a positive and stimulating learning environment for both the preschoolers and the Nanny Care students. This initiative successfully achieved its objective of enhancing practical knowledge and bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application in the fields of Nanny Care and Nutrition
