A group of 30 students from the PG Department of Computer Science, Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, organized an educational industrial visit to Krescent IT Labs, Mohali on April 27, 2026. The visit was conducted under the guidance of faculty members Ms. Anjli Walia, Ms. Hardeep Kaur Parmar, and Ms. Satveer Kaur.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the working environment of the IT industry, including software development processes, project management, and emerging technologies. The interaction with industry professionals provided practical exposure beyond classroom learning and helped students understand real-world applications of their academic knowledge.

Following the industrial visit, the group explored some of Chandigarh’s popular attractions, including the Rock Garden, a unique sculpture garden known for its creative use of industrial and recycled materials. The students also visited Elante Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in North India offering a wide range of retail and entertainment options, where they enjoyed shopping .

The visit proved to be a perfect blend of learning and recreation, enhancing students’ technical understanding while also creating memorable experiences. Respected Dr. Savinder Pal, Director Academics, and Respected Dr. Ruminder Kaur, Officiating Principal, encouraged the students and appreciated the department for organizing such informative and enriching activities.
