The Eco Club of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, organized a plantation drive on 27th April 2026. The event served as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility toward environmental conservation and sustainable living.

During the drive, distinguished guest Ms. Neetu Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science, SN College, Banga, actively participated by planting a sapling of a fruit tree. Fruit-bearing trees were specifically chosen to promote biodiversity and encourage the growth of productive ecosystems within the college premises.

The initiative received strong administrative support, with Director Academics Dr. Savinder Pal and Officiating Principal Dr. Ruminder Kaur expressing appreciation for Eco Club in-charges Dr. Priyanka Aeri (Nodal Officer) and coordinators Dr. Tavisha and Ms. Isha for their consistent efforts in promoting a greener Bharat.
