Under the able guidance of Dr. SavinderPal ,Principal Kamla Nehru college for women, Phagwara. Sh Bhag Ram Handa Library celebrated World Book and Copyright on 23rd April 2025 in which more than 120 students participated in it.

Urvashi Duggal of +2 Medical presented the topic on “Book: A Gateway to Knowledge”, Mansi from +2 Medical delivered a speech on “World Book and Copyright Day”, Jasika of same class also imparted her views on this special day.

Principal Dr.SavinderPal told the students that books are called our permanent friends, they act as our silent companion. They are timeless source of inspiration and add to our moral values. She emphasized that reading a book before bedtime is a wonderful habit, as it increases our memory, concentration and reduces screen time before sleeping. She also guided the students about the copyright law book, she told them that if you want to share, copy or publish parts of a book, it is an important to respect copyright laws. She also appreciated the Dr.Ranganathan library club for their seamless efforts.
