A group of approximately 25 students from PG Department of Commerce of Kamal Nehru College for Women, Phagwara visited the IDBI Bank branch in Phagwara on May 5, 2025, as part of an educational field trip designed to deepen their understanding of the banking and financial services sector.

The visit was conducted under the guidance of college Principal Dr. Savinder Pal and was accompanied by faculty member Ms. Simranjeet Kaur Walia. The students were warmly received by the IDBI team, including Ms. Yamini Chopra, Service and Operations Manager, and Mr. Deepak Batra, Branch Head.

Students were provided with a detailed overview of branch operations, customer handling, digital banking solutions, and various financial services offered by the bank. The session was interactive and informative, bridging the gap between academic theory and practical knowledge.

This educational experience was greatly appreciated by the students, offering them valuable exposure to real-world banking practices. Kamal Nehru College continues to encourage such industry-academia interactions for the holistic development of its students.
