*National Youth Day celebrated at KNCW*

Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal,
NSS unit and NCC wing of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara celebrated online National Youth Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. On this occasion, Dr. Priyanka Aeri, NSS programme Officer talked about National Youth Day. She explained the students that why this day is celebrated. Ms. Nidhi Jassal, NSS Programme Officer delivered online lecture on “Life History of Shri Aurobindo’s life”. All the students got benefitted after attending her lecture. Students also wrote online essays on Freedom fighters and on Swami Vivekananda. They were asked to plant saplings at their homes. Students were also encouraged to clean their homes and their surroundings. Around 100students participated in this event.Students also attended online Inaugration of 25th Nation Youth Festival by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi ji. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal gave her best wishes and congratulated to the whole team for organizing this event.
