Bhag Ram Handa Library in collaboration with Ranganathan library club celebrated National Librarian Day on 12th Augustl 2025 in which more than 100 students had participated .

A special speech session by the library staff was delivered to the students and staff members describing the importance of the National librarian Day and on the holding and services provided by the college library.

Principal Dr.SavinderPal addressed the students, explaining Dr. S. R. Ranganathan’s Five Laws of Library Science and emphasized on the library’s rich collection of books, which she called is our permanent friends. She advised students to avoid excessive mobile phone use and instead make full use of the library and its resources. Madam also told the students about the “Maximum Use of Library” Award and the “Library Star of the Month” Award to encourage reading habits among students.

She also appreciated the Ranganathan library club for their seamless efforts.
