The Drug Abuse Prevention Club of Kamla Nehru College for Women organized a Mass E-Pledge and Poster Making Competition on August 13, 2025 under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, encouraging youth to commit to a drug-free life.

Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, Prof. Sudhamini (Fine Arts Department), Prof. Anita (Psychology Department), and over 40 students participated in the initiative.

In the pledge, participants affirmed: “We commit to staying drug-free ourselves and motivating our family, friends, and community to do the same—because change begins with us.”

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Savinder Pal said, “The youth are the nation’s strength. Staying away from drugs ensures not only personal well-being but also a stronger, progressive society.”
The event concluded with students presenting posters that creatively expressed the message of a healthy, addiction-free India.
