Department of Science, Kamla Nehru College for Women,Phagwara celebrated World’s Health Day on April 8, 2022 on the theme -” OUR PLANET, OUR HEALTH” by a series of events like calligraphy competition and powerpoint presentation. Students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and won prizes. Shivangi, Gursimran and Ramandeep of B.Sc(Eco) Sem 2, Med Sem 2 and Non Med Sem 6 won First, Second and Third prizes in Calligraphy competition and Vaishali and Amanpreet of B.Sc. (Non -Med) Sem 6 and Med Sem 2 won consolation prizes in Calligraphy. For powerpoint presentation, Garima Khurana of B.Sc (Non Med) Sem 4, Isha of B.Sc ( Med) Sem 4 and Komal of B.Sc (Eco) Sem 4 won First,Second and Third prizes respectively. Dr. Savinder Pal, college Principal congratulated entire Sciene faculty and students. Around 60 students participated in the event.
