Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organized a online webinar on programme ”Khwaaishhaan Di Udaan” under the guidance of government of Punjab. An expert talk was given by Dr.Parimnder Kaur and Madam Amandeep Kaur ( Project Coordinator PSDM) under punjab skill development mission under the guidance of Dr. Varun Joshi ( District placement officer, Kapurthala). They explained at length about employment related free skill training programs which are divided into 37 sectors with 2500 courses to be availed by students for their future prospects.Around 60 students attended this webinar where they gained knowledge about different schemes and they showed keen interest in interaction session.Dr. Savinder Pal, paid vote of thanks to Dr.Varun Joshi and he promised to conduct further new programs for self employment in the campus itself. Principal Madam motivated the students to adopt such courses to gain better opportunities in life.
