The 46th convocation of Kamla Nehru College For Women Phagwara held in the main Auditorium where Sh. Som Parkashji, Minister of State for Commerce and Industries. Govt. Of India, was the Chief Guest. Principal Dr. Kirana Walia, members of Management and staff accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and his wife Mrs. Anita Som Parkash.  A total number of 517 students received their degrees in the various streams like Commerce, Arts, Science and Computer Science. The chief guest motivated the students to use their education for the upliftment of the downtrodden and for enlightening their surroundings. Only by pledging their education for contributing something new to society, they can make their names in the world.  Principal Dr. Kiran Walia expressed gratitude to Sh. Som Parkashji and other distinguished guests for gracing the occasion.
