Ekamjot Kaur, a student of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, won first prize in an inter-college solo Shabad Gayan competition held at B.L.M. Girls College, Nawanshahr, on the occasion of the 350th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. Students from various colleges participated with great enthusiasm, and the soulful singing of Gurbani created a serene and spiritual atmosphere.

Ekamjot Kaur, a student of the Music Department (B.A. Second Semester), impressed the judges with her melodious voice and strong command over musical notes. Her soulful rendition helped her clinch the first prize. The achievement brought pride to the college and highlighted her musical talent.

The Principal of the college, Dr. Savinder Pal, congratulated Ekamjot Kaur and Music Department faculty member Dr. Lalit Kumar.
