Grand Farewell party at KNCW

Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organised a grand farewell party in the college auditorium to bid adieu to the outgoing class by the department of English, Hindi and Punjabi
On the occasion colorful programmes like dances and songs were displayed by the host classes which were appreciated by the whole audience with thundering applause.
An essay of activities and fun games were organized by the juniors for their seniors
Modeling was the main attraction of the day which was judged by Dr.Gurpreet Kaur  and Madam Kamlesh who shortlisted candidates for the question answer round and then the final judgment for the coveted titles of the year were announced.
Shruti from BCA was awarded Miss KNC where as Taran from B.Com and Prableen from BCA was adjudged as 1st and 2nd runner up. Further, the title of Miss Elegance was bagged by Tarandeep from BBA, title of Miss Confident was awarded to Swati  from B.Sc Non-medical, Gagan from B.Sc Medical and Tanisha from B.Com were decorated with the title of Miss Unique and Miss Beautiful Smile respectively.
College Head Girl, Shruti gave a very heartwarming Thankyou speech on the behalf of all the outgoing students in which she thanked our College Principal for her extreme support, influence and motivation at all the levels. She also thanked all the teachers who have been a guiding light throughout all the years of college and have always been on their toes to help everyone. Last but not least she thanked her peers for always being each other’s support. After that Amandeep bid adieu on the behalf of all the juniors, wishing them a very bright and prosperous future ahead.
On this occasion principal of institution, Dr. Savinder Pal wished best of luck and bid farewell to the outgoing students and motivated them by saying anything can be achieved by sincere hard work and dedication. The function was concluded with a beautiful jhumar performance by the students.
At last special lunch was arranged by the College for the students and staff members.
