It was a moment of pride for the Principal of Kamla Nehru College For Women Phagwara, Dr. Savinder Pal, as she had the honour of meeting Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu at the 50th Golden Jubilee Convocation held at GNDU, Amritsar. She attended the convocation as a Syndicate Member, where she interacted with the President of India and other distinguished dignitaries, including Chancellor of the University, Mr Gulab Chand Katria, Rajya Sabha member, Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahni and Education Minister of Punjab, S. Harjot Singh Bains.
Her presence and interaction at such a significant academic event was a matter of great honour and brought recognition to the College.
Adding further to the pride of the institution, Ms. Kamlesh, Department of History was also conferred the Ph.D. degree at the Convocation, reflecting the College’s strong academic culture and commitment to excellence.
