On 26 August , 2023 Kamla Nehru College for Women organized ‘Freshers Party’ and ‘Talent Hunt competition’. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal was the chief guest of the event. Chief Guest was presented with a sapling by the organising team representing preservation of environment. On this occasion, along with modelling and games, a beautiful cultural presentation was also given by the students showcasing their talent. Madam Monika from Department of Fashion Designing and Madam Priyanka from Department of Science acted as Judges. Jannat Nanda from B.Sc. Fashion Designing won the Title of ‘Miss Fresher’ and Ankita was declared ‘First Runner Up’, whereas Kritika won the title of ‘Second Runner Up. Jashandeep and Jaspreet were adjudged ‘Miss Elegant ‘ and ‘Miss Charming’ respectively.

Principal Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated the organising team and students for the successful organization of the event. She also welcomed the new students with warm words and promised to fulfill their dreams. She also wished them all the happiness during their academic journey. The event was concluded by Madam Nidhi as she thanked the Cheif Guest Principal Madam,Judges, the organising team and all the students and also congratulated the winning students.
