Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, celebrated the Flag Hoisting Ceremony with pride and devotion, honouring the spirit of the nation.
The event was jointly organised by the NCC and NSS units of the college under the leadership of NSS Programme Officer Ms. Nidhi and Dr. Lalit, NCC Caretaker Officer Ms. Khushi.
The ceremony commenced with the arrival of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, who unfurled the National Flag amidst the chanting of the National Anthem. The fluttering tricolour instilled a sense of unity, pride, and responsibility among all present. In her address, Dr. Savinder Pal emphasised the importance of discipline, service, and dedication to the motherland.
Around 60 students, including NCC cadets and NSS volunteers, actively participated in organising the event, ensuring smooth coordination and a dignified atmosphere.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of the organising teams, staff, and students in making the event a memorable tribute to the country.
