Dept of home science and NSS in collaboration with IQAC organised a webinair to celebrate poshan pakhwara

    On 30th March, 2021, Department of Home Science and NSS of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara in collaboration with IQAC of the college organized a Webinar to Celebrate “Poshan Pakhwara”. Following the directions from the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, the Webinar was organized on the topic, “Nutritional needs during Adolescence”.  Dt. Renu Verma, a renowned nutritionist and Clinical Dietician was the key note speaker. During the talk, she conveyed the message to take nutritional and balanced diet in our daily schedule and advised to have seasonal and fresh fruits and vegetables. Principal of the College Dr. Savinder Pal extended a virtual welcome to the key note speaker and motivated all the participants of the webinar to follow the instructions to enjoy good health. Dr. Priyanka Aeri, Head Department of Home Science introduced the speaker to the audience virtually. Ms. Swati, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science coordinated the webinar. Dr. Gurpreet Pal, Project  Officer of NSS presented the vote of thanks.
