Colors of Cleanliness: Day 3 of Swachh Bharat Campaign
Kamla Nehru College for Women marked Day 3 of its week-long Swachh Bharat Campaign with a burst of colors and creativity. The highlight of the day was a Rangoli Competition organized by the NCC and NSS units of the college.
Students used natural and eco-friendly colors to design intricate rangolis carrying powerful messages of cleanliness, hygiene, and a plastic-free environment. Their creative expressions not only beautified the campus but also spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and sustainability in daily life.
Principal Dr. Savinder Pal lauded the participants for combining art with awareness, praising their efforts in aligning traditional cultural expression with the national mission of Swachh Bharat. She highlighted that such initiatives nurture both creativity and social responsibility among students.
The event was coordinated by NCC CTO Ms. Khushi and NSS Programme Officers Ms. Nidhi and Dr. Tavisha, who motivated students to participate wholeheartedly in the campaign.
The Swachh Bharat Campaign, jointly organized by NCC and NSS, will continue with impactful activities until October 1, 2025, inspiring students to contribute to the vision of a cleaner and greener India.
