The girls’ team of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, brought great pride to the institution by delivering an outstanding performance at the Junior National Ball Badminton Championship held in Erode, Tamil Nadu. Representing Punjab, the team showcased exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the prestigious national-level tournament.

During the championship, the Punjab girls’ team displayed remarkable gameplay by defeating strong teams such as Manipur and Delhi, demonstrating their excellent preparation and competitive spirit. With consistent and commendable performances, the team reached the quarterfinals and secured an impressive 5th position among 32 participating teams, marking a significant achievement at the national level.

The team included Harjot Kaur, Jaismeen Kaur, Radhika, Baljit Kaur, Mannat, Himanshu Bhardwaj, Shivani, and Nikita, whose collective effort, discipline, and teamwork contributed significantly to the team’s success.
