IQAC in collaboration with Eco Club and Red Ribbon Society of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara celebrated “Earth Day”. On this occasion , around 25 students presented ‘‘Placard Poster presentation’’ under the theme of “The Urgency Of Restoring Our Planet For A Sustainable Future”. The foremost incentive of this event was to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide along with emphasizing the idea that individual actions can have a significant global impact. Dr. Savinder Pal, the college principal motivated the students and enlightened them with the slogan “Our Power, Our Planet” and also express her views about adopting sustainable practices in all aspects of life, from consumption to production for protecting the environment as we grapple with pressing issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. Principal mam appreciate all the staff members and students for participating in this event with full of enthusiasm. Students also took pledge to take immediate action to safeguard our environment for both present and future generations.
