A Book Exhibition was organized at Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, in collaboration with the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Society and Tarksheel Society, Punjab.
The exhibition was part of the ongoing Library Month celebrations being observed by the college.

The exhibition featured a wide range of valuable books by world-renowned scholars, writers, and notable Indian and Punjabi authors. Books on the Ghadar Movement, as well as biographies of freedom fighters and revolutionaries from Punjab, were also displayed.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Savinder Pal emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in today’s times, as they help students build a stronger culture of reading and appreciation for books. She added that reading books enables students to gain deeper knowledge about society, history, and national heroes.

The Principal also appreciated Dr. Kamlesh, Head of the Department of History, for successfully organizing the event.
