Assembly to Welcome Students and Reinforce Values
Kamla Nehru Women College, Phagwara, held a meaningful and well-organized morning assembly that brought together around 700 students and faculty members in a spirit of discipline, unity, and inspiration.
Held on July 18th under the leadership of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal Kaur, the assembly began with a soulful group prayer, setting a calm and focused tone for the day. A warm welcome was extended to the new batch of students, helping them feel included and connected to the college community.
In her address, Dr. Kaur emphasized the importance of following the college’s Code of Conduct. She clearly outlined restrictions on mobile phone usage, urged students to maintain discipline in common areas, and encouraged them to use their free periods productively.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, instilling a shared sense of pride and purpose as students moved to their classes—guided and supported by the collective efforts of all faculty members.
