An extension lecture on the topic “Research Methodology”

On 25.08.2023, the Department of Science, in collaboration with IQAC conducted an extension lecture on the topic “Research Methodology.”Ms. Sanofar Khokher, Research Scholar, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara acted as the resource person. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal extended a warm welcome to the attendees. In her address, Ms. Sanofar Khokher explained different types of research methods, such as qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods along with their characteristics and when they are appropriate to use. She further highlighted the importance of ethical considerations while reporting and presentation. She shed some light on the structure of a research proposal and guided the students about different research journals also. She further encouraged students to write research and review papers. Throughout the lecture, she used real life examples, case studies, and interactive activities to engage the students and ensured their understanding. Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated the Department of Science for the grand success of the event. The lecture was attended by college Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, faculty members and around 50 students from Department of Science.
