With the collaborative efforts of the IQAC and the Department of Computer Science, Kamla
Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, a seven day Faculty Development Programme (FDP)
was organized from 22.04.21 to 29.04.21on the theme Use of Computers in an Educational
Setup. This programme was organized by the faculty members of the Department of
Computer Science namely Ms. Anjali Walia, Ms. Swati and Ms. Jaskiranjit under the
guidance of the college Principal Dr. Savinder Pal. The topics that were covered during this 7
day programme are: E-certificates, Google forms, Ms-Word-Typing and Fonts, Brochures ,
PPt. All the faculty members attended this FDP with enthusiasm. Dr. Savinder Pal discussed
the need of learning computers to stay updated with the evolving world of information and
technology, and also, to make their use effectively as per the requirements of an
educational setup. She further congratulated the organising committee and faculty
members for the successful completion of the programme.
