A seminar on the theme “Say No to Drugs”
A seminar on the theme “Say No to Drugs” was organized today at Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women, aiming to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 100 students.
The college Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, graced the occasion and delivered an inspiring speech, urging students to lead healthy and responsible lives. She emphasized the importance of staying away from harmful substances and making informed life choices.
The seminar was efficiently coordinated under the leadership of Dr. Rinka, who served as the overall in-charge. Faculty members Ms. Isha Chabbra, Ms. Simranjeet Kaur Walia, and Ms. Khushi were among the key organizers who ensured the smooth conduct of the event.
During the seminar, students Avneet, Harleen, Sukhraj and Anmol delivered impactful speeches highlighting the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, students Manjoban, Urvashi, and Sameksha recited motivational poems promoting a drug-free life.
Awareness talks, motivational speeches, and poetry recitations made the seminar an enlightening and memorable experience for all participants. The event concluded with a pledge taken by the students to live a drug-free life.
