Baljit Kaur, an alumna of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara and currently serving as Head Constable in the PAP Sports Wing, has brought laurels to her alma mater, her state Punjab, and the nation by winning a silver medal at the 9th Asian Championship held in Vietnam.

The college is proud to share that Baljit Kaur pursued her B.A. and M.A. (Punjabi) from Kamla Nehru College for Women. During her academic years, under the mentorship of Coach S. Jasvir Singh, she achieved remarkable success in various university and state-level sports competitions, consistently bringing recognition to the college.

After completing her studies in the session 2014-15, she joined the Punjab Police and has continued to excel. Her recent international achievement has not only elevated the reputation of the police department but has also made the entire nation proud.
