On August 13, 2025, the Department of Home Science and Ek Bharat Sherasht Bharat, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, successfully organized a “Project Making Competition” to celebrate Independence Day.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from 30 students across various classes. Contestants demonstrated their creativity by crafting a variety of articles related to Independence Day, utilizing diverse materials to showcase their projects. The competition provided a platform for students to express their patriotic spirit and artistic skills.

Dr. Savinder Pal, Principal of the college, served as the judge for the event. She acknowledged the participants and the winners. First position was bagged by Simrandeep kaur ( Nanny Care and Nutrition) and second position was secured by Manraj (B.Sc. N.Med Sem 3) and third position was gained by Anoop ( B.A. Sem 3). Principal Dr. Savinder Pal commended the students for their outstanding creativity and effort in the project-making competition. She also extended her congratulations to the teachers for the flawless organization of the event and praised all participants for their enthusiastic contributions.
