A Heartfelt Send-Off: Farewell 2025
Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, organized a grand farewell party on April 24, 2025, to bid farewell to the outgoing batch. The chief guest, Dr. Savinder Pal, was warmly welcomed with a planter. One of the main highlights of the event was the modelling show which was judged by Dr. Rinka, Ms. Monika, and Ms. Priyanka Mankhand. Cultural performances kept the audience entertained throughout the celebration.
In addition to the main programme, Harjinder Sir from the Punjabi Department organized a variety of fun games. The winners were rewarded with gifts. A special PowerPoint presentation was also displayed, capturing the heartfelt memories and moments shared between the students and their seniors, which added an emotional touch to the celebration.
The title of Miss KNCW was awarded to Aditi Kwatra. Sukirti was declared the First Runner-Up, and Omika the Second Runner-Up. Naman received the title of Miss Confident, while Arshpreet was awarded Miss Beautiful Dress. Himanshi was crowned Miss Beautiful Smile.
Himanshi also delivered a heartfelt farewell speech, reflecting on her journey at the college and the personal growth she experienced over the years. The programme concluded with an energetic Bhangra performance. The event was attended by over 450 students and 60 faculty members
The Principal extended her best wishes to the students for their exams and future endeavors. She encouraged them to carry sweet memories with them and reminded them that with determination and strong willpower, they could achieve great things. She also applauded the efforts of the organizers for making the event a grand success.
The celebration concluded with a delicious lunch arranged for all students and faculty members.
