Farewell Party at KNJCW
Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women, Phagwara organized a grand farewell party in the college auditorium to bid adieu to the outgoing class.The Principal and Chief Guest, Dr. Savinder Pal, was warmly welcomed by presenting a planter as a token of respect and gratitude. The judges were also welcomed by presenting planters as a mark of honour and appreciation.The programme was efficiently organized under the guidance of Dr. Rinka along with Ms. Isha Chhabra, Simran Walia, and Khushi Walia, whose dedicated efforts made the event a grand success. Students of +1 Mehak and Mantej handled the stage efficiently and kept the audience engaged throughout the programme.
On the occasion, colourful programmes such as dances and songs were presented by the students. To add more fun and excitement to the function, games were also organized by the juniors for their seniors.Modeling was the main attraction of the day. It was judged by Dr. Sudhamani Sood from the Fine Arts Department and Madam Anjali Walia from the Computer Department.
Tags were also given to the teachers by the students as a token of gratitude towards the Principal Ma’am, Vice Principal Ma’am, and all the teachers.
The title of Miss Elegant was bagged by Paralpreet. Deepika Sahota won the title of Miss Confident, whereas Suhani and Urvashi were adjudged as the 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively. Ms. Kashish was crowned Miss KNJCW. Radhika of Class 12 expressed her love and gratitude towards the college and teachers through her heartfelt speech.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Savinder Pal wished the outgoing students good luck for their upcoming examination and future endeavours. During her speech, she also appreciated the sincere efforts of the organising team Dr. Rinka, Ms. Isha Chhabra, Ms. Simran Walia, Ms. Khushi Walia for arranging such a memorable and well-coordinated function.
Dr. Rinka also commended the students for the energy and enthusiasm they brought to the event and wished them good luck for their upcoming examinations.The function concluded with an energetic bhangra performance. In the end, a special lunch was arranged by the college for the students and staff members
