Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, successfully organized the trials for its Annual SportsMeet on 5th and 6th February 2026 at the College Stadium. The trials witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments, showcasing their dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The trials were graciously attended by the Principal ma’am, Dr. Savinder Pal, whose inspiring presence greatly motivated the students. Addressing the participants, she emphasized the vital role of sports and physical activities in fostering leadership qualities, teamwork, and overall personality development. She also appreciated the efforts of the students and the organizing team for their energetic participation and commitment.
The trials included Indoor Games – Carrom, Chess, and Badminton, and Outdoor Games – Kho-Kho and Football, along with Team Building activities.
The trials were systematically conducted under the supervision of Ms. Shubhasmita Sahoo, Assistant Professor of Physical Education. She was ably supported by Ms. Isha Chhabra, and Mr. Harjinder Singh, Sports Club Member, who played an important role in ensuring the smooth execution of the event. Mr. Harvinder Chauhan, Sports Club Member, also made a remarkable contribution and played a key role in the successful organization and management of the trials.
