Under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, the Departments of Cosmetology and Science of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, organised the 52nd Annual Fete 2026 on the college campus with great pomp and enthusiasm. The fete also marked the celebration of the 60-year glorious journey of the college, reflecting its rich cultural heritage and diversity. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Amarjit Singh, College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, and the organisers by realising ballon in the air.
Students, dressed in elegant and attractive attire, added colour and vibrancy to the occasion. More than 750 people attended the fete, which featured a variety of stalls offering food items, games, and cultural exhibits.
A cultural programme was also organised and enthralled the audience with vibrant performances. The event concluded with a lucky draw, in which several attractive prizes were distributed on the spot, including a washing machine, LED TV, air fryer, microwave, cycle, hair straightener, dinner set, griller, room heater, double bed blanket, and hair dryer.
The live commentary of the fete was efficiently handled by Prof. Harjinder Singh and Mr. Kamal Kaushal, while stage management in the auditorium was smoothly conducted by Madam Jyoti Bajaj and Madam Preeti Markanda. Among the guests present were Ms. Meenu Gupta from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Mr. Ranjit Gogna from the School of Eminence, Mr. Jagpal Singh from Shri MahavirJain Model Sen. Sec. School, Ms. Reeta Thapar from S.D. Putri Pathshala, and Mr. Pardeep Singh from Shri Mahavir Jain Model Sen Sec School along with Mr. Vinod Kumar from the School of Eminence.
After the successful conclusion of the fete, Principal Dr. Savinder Pal expressed her heartfelt gratitude to guests, faculty members, students, and all those who contributed to the smooth conduct of the event, and congratulated the organising team and the lucky draw winners.
