NSS Unit of Kamla Nehru College for Women, celebrates National Youth Week (12th January 2026 to 19th January 2026)

The NSS Unit of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (National Youth Week: 12th January 2026 to 19th January 2026) with great enthusiasm and reverence.

To commemorate the occasion, the NSS Unit organised a series of student-centric activities including poster making, speech competition, and essay writing on 16th January. These activities aimed to inspire students to reflect upon and express the ideals, teachings, and vision of Swami Vivekananda, particularly his emphasis on youth empowerment, character building, and service to humanity.

The Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, appreciated the efforts of the NSS Unit and encouraged students to imbibe the teachings of Swami Vivekananda in their lives. The programme was successfully conducted under the guidance of Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Tavisha Singh, NSS Programme Officers, with active participation from NSS volunteers.
