7 Days Faculty Development Programme: Day 7

7 Days Faculty Development Programme: Day 7

On the concluding day, Dr. Tavisha served as the resource person and was formally introduced by Dr. Priyanka Aeri. The session was attended by faculty members from various departments and focused on strengthening research ethics and academic writing skills.

Dr. Tavisha, from the Department of Botany, delivered an insightful lecture on Plagiarism, wherein she explained the meaning of plagiarism, its various types, and the reasons behind both intentional and unintentional plagiarism in research writing. She emphasized the importance of originality, ethical practices, and academic integrity in scholarly work. To make the session more practical, she gave a live demonstration of PaperPAL, explaining how the tool can be effectively used to write research papers, improve language quality, cite references correctly, and minimize plagiarism. The demonstration helped faculty members understand the practical use of digital tools in academic research.

After the session, Principal Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated the entire faculty for the successful completion of the Faculty Development Programme. She discussed in detail the highlights and learning outcomes of each day’s sessions, appreciated the efforts of the IQAC team and all resource persons, and motivated the teachers to actively engage in research work and research paper writing. Her encouraging words inspired faculty members to apply the knowledge gained during the FDP in their future academic and research endeavors.

The valedictory session concluded on a positive and motivating note, marking the 7 Days Faculty Development Programme (17–24 December 2025) as a successful, enriching, and impactful academic initiative.
