Students of the Diploma in Nanny Care and Nutrition, Batch 2024–2025, of Kamla Nehru College for Women successfully completed a one-month internship at ABC Montessori Play School, Phagwara. The internship was organised by the Home Science Association of the college from 14 July to 15 August 2025 with the objective of providing hands-on experience in early childhood care and education.

Simran (1213), Gulshan Heer (1211), Sarika (1205), and Arshpreet Kaur (1214) actively participated in the internship. They assisted teachers, designed learning activities, and gained practical skills in childcare and the playway method of early childhood education.

Dr. Savinder Pal, College Principal, expressed pride in the students’ dedication and achievements. She highlighted that the college places a strong emphasis on blending theoretical knowledge with real-world experience to prepare students for successful careers in education and childcare.
